Our 3-in-1 school campus is designed to reflect our philosophy: Peace and Security within a learning environment.
The Early Learning centre, the Edinburgh Primary school and the Lilydale Adventist Academy are all on one campus, making the transition between schools easier, allowing the interaction between students at all levels to take place naturally and all within constant access to staff, to library and sport venues.
The buildings are designed with safety (physical, mental and social) in mind, while the Junior school (at the Academy) is designed both physically and via the curriculum as to be a link between the Primary and High School.
The Junior school is even more inclusive of group dynamics, more integrated into the gardens - yes, we have gardens at our school and yes, the students can play (responsibly) in them- and closer to both the School Oval and the school Library.
LAA also offers extra-curricula tuition in Music (both vocal and instrumental) and the application of this in our school performance group, as well as on-campus tennis coaching. Prayer Warriors: a Christ-centred club, and Seek Cafe add to the Christ-based thinking we believe drives our school. Practical programs like STORMCO and Breakfast-in-schools allow our students to live the principles taught, while school camps and excursions extend our teaching beyond the school grounds.
